In 1995 by Bob Nelson, a board member of the Recognition Professionals International, established this holiday. It’s a great opportunity for bosses to thank their employees. They thank for the hard work and efforts they put to turn the company into fruitful business. It’s not an official holiday so the employees will not have a day off. But bosses can make the day special by treating their employees with lunch, giving small gifts, organizing an office party, outdoor team building games or just giving them a day off.
