A business card can do more than share your phone number. AxiomPrint’s custom pop-up business cards use die-cut shapes and scored folds to give your design a three-dimensional look when opened. A smoothie cup, a house, or a shape based on your logo can become part of the card itself.
These 3D business cards work well for introductions, coupons, and promotional handouts. They fold flat for distribution and open to reveal your design, with room for contact details, an offer, or a QR code.
The cuts and folds are planned around your artwork. As someone opens the card, the shape takes form and reveals the message inside. You can feature a product, introduce your business, or present a special offer.
Add a QR code linking to your menu, website, booking page, or promotion. Plan its placement along with the folds so customers can scan it easily without bending or flattening the printed code.
Choose your size and paper based on the shape you want to create and how the card will be used.
Check the flat and folded dimensions on your approved template before setting up the artwork.
The paper you choose affects how the card folds and holds its shape. Our team can review which stock suits your pop-up structure.
Print on the front only or use both sides to give your design more room. The outside can introduce your business, while the inside carries your offer or contact information.
Gloss adds shine, matte gives the card a more subdued finish, and soft touch adds a smooth feel. Leather lamination adds texture to one side. The selected finish needs to work with your paper and fold layout.
Use foil or raised spot UV on a logo, headline, or selected detail. A few well-placed accents can give the card a distinct look and feel.
Digital & Raised Foil
Digital foil adds metallic detail to the printed design. Raised foil adds a metallic finish you can feel. AxiomPrint uses Scodix equipment for specialty raised foil and raised spot UV effects.
Raised Spot UV
Raised spot UV adds a clear, raised gloss to selected areas. Foil and raised UV placement should be reviewed around folds, cut lines, and moving sections of the card.
Die cutting is included. The cut shapes and scored folds work together to form the card’s pop-up structure.
Your design can follow the shape of a drink, a food item, a house, a vehicle, or another image connected to your business. Before production, the cut and fold layout needs to be reviewed to make sure the card opens as intended.
Pop-up business cards suit businesses that want to show what they do through the card’s shape and design.
Use your custom pop-up business cards for everyday introductions or build them around a specific promotion.
Use the approved template for your size and pop-up structure. Mark the cut lines, score lines, and any areas receiving foil or raised spot UV.
Keep text, logos, and QR codes clear of cut edges and folds. Include the required bleed, use high-resolution images, and prepare your artwork in CMYK. If you are printing both sides, check how the artwork lines up when the card is flat and when it is opened.
Choose the production schedule that fits your project.
Turnaround depends on artwork approval, the pop-up structure, and your finishing selections.
