How Piggyback Labels Work

A piggyback label consists of a base label and a removable top label.

The bottom layer remains attached to the original container or package. The top layer peels away while retaining its adhesive, allowing it to be transferred to a form, file, sample container, secondary package, patient chart, or another surface.

This construction helps duplicate and transfer important information without printing or applying a separate label.

Release Lamination

Select the roll unwind direction required for your automatic or semi-automatic labeling equipment.

Choose Any when no specific unwind direction is required or when the labels will be applied by hand. For machine-applied labels, confirm the required unwind direction with your equipment operator before ordering.
